My name is Dina Samfield. I am a former program coordinator and public school science teacher who, since moving to the Town of Shirley 16 years ago, has worked to improve education via support for the regionalization of the Ayer Shirley schools, and the renovation of our Ayer Shirley Regional High School.

As the Chair of the Shirley Democratic Town Committee and a founding member of Indivisible Nashoba, I have brought people together to present public forums designed to educate the public about issues such as climate change, Medicare for All, and propaganda and the media.

As your state representative, I will continue to fight for quality schools, affordable health care, and addressing the climate crisis.

I am committed to working for affordable and accessible quality early education and childcare, restoring adequate funding for public colleges and universities, 100% Renewable Energy and other climate solutions, Medicare for All, State House transparency, Safe Communities, protecting women's reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights, and addressing the Commonwealth's transportation crisis.

I am proud to be endorsed by:

  • former 37th Middlesex District State Representative Jennifer Benson
  • Representative (3rd Worcester) Stephan Hay
  • Mass. AFL-CIO
  • Sierra Club
  • Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 509
  • Massachusetts Voters for Animals
  • Ayer Shirley Regional School Committee Vice Chair Joyce Reischutz
  • Shirley Board of Selectmen Chair Bryan Sawyer
  • Shirley Board of Selectmen member Debra Flagg
  • Ayer Democratic Town Committee Chair Kathleen O'Connnor

She is committed to making positive changes in the district and for the Commonwealth, and will be a strong voice for greater economic equality, access to affordable health care, addressing climate change, women’s reproductive rights, and fighting for high quality early childhood and public education.

“I am grateful for Ms. Benson’s advocacy for education and local aid, and her leadership on climate change and healthcare issues, among others. I am honored to receive her endorsement,” Samfield responded.
